Small Business of the Year
In 2009, the Lima/Allen County Chamber of Commerce recognized outstanding businesses in the community during their annual Awards Gala. Thirteen Lima/Allen County businesses had been nominated and Trisco Systems was honored to be named Small Business of the Year. In addition to the award, they received commendation certificates from the Ohio House of Representatives and the Ohio State Senate.
Trisco has been owned and operated by the Walter family since its inception in 1936. Steven W. and Brian U. Walter are the current and third generation owners. They were humbled by the award and thanked their clients and dedicated employees. The Walters credit their long time mission of excellence in workmanship, technical expertise and maintaining the highest standards of integrity, as the cornerstone for the company’s success.
SWR Institute – Certified Contractor
The Sealant, Waterproofing and Restoration Institute, an international organization, has adopted a new contractor certification program to assist building owners, architects, consultants and others in pre-qualifying their restoration and waterproofing contractors. This “Contractor Selection Tool” is used to search through a database of pre-qualified contractors, as a screening process to help provide the end user with an experienced, capable, and financially sound specialty contractor. After rigorous testing and third-party validation, Trisco Systems, Inc. of Lima, OH was approved to be included in this select database of highly competent specialty contractors, which spans the entire country.
