Utilizing what is existing and maximizing space is something we all try to take advantage of.
The intended end use however needs to be considered. In an effort to do just that, we often have designated storage space or even offices housed below grandstands, stadiums, and elevated plaza decks.
It is a great idea except for one thing, mother nature. Whether they are precast or poured concrete decks, these structures contain expansion joints and house numerous penetrations that will eventually lead to leaks below.
The good news is there is an effective solution that can be performed in these situations to remedy the problem.
Traffic or deck membranes offer a monolithic coating much like a roof, except they are designed for slip-resistant traffic at any time. They are a fully trafficable coating that helps protect what is housed beneath.
The other benefit is since it is a complete coating application, needed repairs can be addressed prior to application and the end result is new or nearly new looking structure. With numerous system types and an unlimited color selection, we can help breath new life into your stadium or grandstand.
